Grace C. Noonan (Corey)

SIOUX CITY -- Grace (Corey) Noonan, 86, of Naples, Fla., and Sioux City died peacefully Monday, Sept. 5, 2011, at her residence in Sioux City surrounded by her family.
A celebration of life service will be 10:30 a.m. Friday at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church, with the Rev. Merlin J. Schrad officiating. Private graveside services will be in Calvary Cemetery. Visitation with the family will be 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, with a parish vigil service at 7 p.m. followed by a rosary being led by a family member, at Larkin Northside Chapel, Christy-Smith Funeral Home.
Grace was born Feb. 5, 1925, in Sioux City, the daughter of Leonard and Gladys (Bell) Corey.
She was a member and volunteer for the Junior League of Sioux City. She also was a member of the Civitan Club and the Tides in Naples. She was a master bridge player, and an avid golfer. She loved to travel and spend time with her family.
Grace is survived by her sons, Burke of Sioux City, Corey (Joni) of Arkansas, and Kelly of Denver, Colo.; her daughters, Liz (Pat) Rudersdorf of Omaha, Katie (Bob) Landon of Texas, and Maggie (Rick) Flamand of Virginia; 15 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; her brother, Ben Corey of St. Petersburg, Fla.; and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Michael Patrick Noonan in 1990; a grandson, Corey S. Flamand in 2001; and her parents, Gladys and Len Corey.
