SIOUX CITY -- Gwenith M. Mann, 78, of Sioux City died Sunday, Feb. 20, 2011, at a local hospital of natural causes.
The body has been cremated. Memorial services and burial will be held in the spring. Arrangements are under the direction of Morningside Chapel, Christy-Smith Funeral Home. Condolences may be sent online to

Gwenith was born Aug. 25, 1932, in Alta, Iowa, the daughter of Chester and Ida (Patten) Jorgensen. She was raised near Alta. After her schooling, she lived in several towns in northwest Iowa. In the early 1960s, she moved to Sioux City and had been here since. She was a bartender at several bars around town.
She enjoyed playing darts and being in dart leagues.
She was survived by her significant other, Lester Duane Robertson; a son, Jackie Dean Friskie of Akron, Iowa; her daughter, Marcia Nelson of Yankton, S.D.; two brothers, Ron (Marilyn) Jorgensen of Green Valley, Ariz., and Gordon Jorgensen of Green Valley; three sisters, Ruth Driver of Independence, Mo., Nancy Spink of Sioux City, and Mary Furrer of Olatha, Kan.; four grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; a brother, Garland Jorgensen; and two sisters, Betty Selecta and Clara Peck.
