MOVILLE, Iowa -- Hattie Ledgerwood, 93, of Sioux City, formerly of Moville, died Sunday, May 10, 2009, at Westwood Nursing and Rehab Center in Sioux City.
Services will be 1 p.m. today at Trinity Lutheran Church in Moville, with the Rev. James Berka officiating. Burial will be in Arlington Township Cemetery. Visitation will be 10 a.m. to service time Thursday at the church.

Hattie was born Nov. 20, 1915, on a farm near Moville, the daughter of Otto and Annie (Wieck) Keuck. She grew up near Moville and attended Country School 8.
She married Ollie Ledgerwood on April 29, 1942, in Dakota City. She worked as a waitress in Kingsley, Pierson, Lawton, Iowa and Moville while her children were in school. Ollie died in December 1974. After his death, she lived with and helped her brother, Chris, with the farm for 30 years.
She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church. She loved taking care of her family and dearly loved her grandchildren. She also enjoyed The Price is Right.
Survivors include two daughters, Jana and Bruce Wilson of Luverne, Minn., and Betty and Ken McConnell of Fredricksburg, Va.; four grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; a great-great-grandchild; three brothers, Chris Keuck of Moville, Ray Keuck of Sioux City and Lavern and Marilyn Keuck of Denison, Iowa; and four sisters, Vesta Davis of North Carolina, Lydia Fisher of Merrill, Iowa, Velma Linerud of Spokane, Wash., and Doris Grasma of Sioux City.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Ollie Ledgerwood; a grandson, Chris Greenhalgh; and a sister, Gertrude Parkinson.
