Helen Mary Kull, 92, of Sioux City died Sunday, May 24, 2015, at a Sioux City hospital.
Graveside services will be held at a later date. Arrangements are under the direction of Morningside Chapel, Christy-Smith Funeral.
Helen was born on June 12, 1922, at home in Sioux City, the daughter of William and Anna S. (Pawlus) Kull. She was a lifelong resident of Sioux City and attended East High School. Helen worked for the Sioux City School System for 12 years and retired in 1983.
She was a former member of St. Francis Catholic Church. She enjoyed reading, bowling and what she loved most was spoiling her nieces and nephews.
She is survived by her nieces and nephews, Georganna (Wayne) Kusksky of St. Louis, Mo., Sherry Somers of Colorado Springs, Colo., Julie (Bill) Darwin of Sioux City, Sue (Mark) Guthmiller of Colorado Springs, Bill (Kim) Kull of Sioux City, and Bob (Jerri Lynn) Kull of Dakota Dunes, S.D.; six grandnieces; five grandnephews; many great-grandnieces and nephews; and her very dear friend, Dolly Palmolea of Sioux City.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her brother, Walter; an infant brother, Frank; her sisters, Sophie Kull, and Mary DeMarest; and an infant sister, Eve Kull.
