Jane M. Erichsen-Lewis, 54, of Sioux City died Sunday, Jan. 20, 2008, at a Sioux City hospital.
There will be no services. As per her wishes, the body was cremated. Arrangements are under the direction of Christy-Smith Morningside Chapel. Condolences may be sent online to www.christysmith.com .
Jane was born Sept. 9, 1953, in Sioux City, the daughter of Harold L. and Margaret J. (Lilly) Erichsen. She graduated from Heelan High School in 1971. She also attended Briar Cliff College. She was a lifelong Sioux City resident.
She married Robert T. Lewis on May 27, 1989 in Sioux City. She was employed at Sears for more than 10 years. In 1990, she became the co-owner and operator of Baker-Lewis Trucking Co. She also owned and operated the R.T.L. Trucking Co.
She was an avid reader and loved her cats.
Survivors include her husband, Robert of Sioux City; her parents, Harold and Peg Erichsen of Mission, Texas; a brother, Tom Erichsen of Las Vegas, Nev.; and several aunts and uncles.
