Jeree J. Anderson, 63, of Sioux City, died Monday, July 24, 2017, at home.
Services will be 6 p.m. today at Christy-Smith Funeral Home, Larkin Chapel. Visitation will be 3 to 7 p.m. today at the funeral home.
Jeree Jean Smalley, was born May 28, 1954, in Sioux City, the daughter of LeRoy and Maxine (Felt) Smalley She graduated from Heelan High School in 1972, and went on to study in the medical billing field.
Jeree married Raymond Anderson in Sioux City. They later divorced.
She worked various jobs while in the Sioux City area, and then worked in the Maricopa County Courthouse in Phoenix, Ariz. After returning to Sioux City, Jeree owned and operated her own cleaning service.
After meeting John Smith, Jeree spent the next 28 years with him. She was a homemaker and helped raise her granddaughter, Carlie. Family was important to Jeree.
Jeree was a member of St. Boniface Catholic Church.
Survivors include her children, J.D. (Jenifer Holbrok) Anderson, Amanda (Joey Johnson) Anderson, Megan (Clay Mace) Smith, Melissa (Jake Saxton) Smith and Wendy LeDeaux, all of Sioux City; grandchildren, Allie Jean Swigart, Carlie Rhea Anderson, Lillian Saxton, Thierrea Crelly and Harper Saxton; siblings, Patricia Lilly, Eli Corey, Deanna Rickwa, Greg Corey, Charlene Flett and Judie Cross; and many other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and the love of her life, John Smith.
