Jo Anne Lich, 75, of Sioux City died Sunday, April 12, 2015, at a Sioux City hospital.
Services will be 11 a.m. Thursday at Morningside Chapel, Christy-Smith Funeral Home, with the Rev. Jill Clem officiating. Visitation will be 4 to 8 p.m. today, with family present 6 to 8 p.m., at the funeral home.
Jo Anne was born on Feb. 27, 1940, in Sioux City, the daughter of Joseph and Dorothy (Dohrman) Starzl. She attended school and graduated from Pierre (S.D.) High School in 1958.
She moved back to Sioux City, where she met and married Duane Lich on May 25, 1968. They made their home in Sioux City until moving to Newell, S.D., in the early 1990s. They moved back to Sioux City in September 2013.
Jo Anne enjoyed crocheting, drawing and oil painting. She loved all animals, especially her dogs, Angel, Daisy, Sugar and Spice.
Jo Anne is survived by her husband, Duane Lich of Sioux City; three children, Joni (Timothy) Bock of Sergeant Bluff, Janelle (Jeff) Perrin of Sioux City, and David Lich of Sheldon, Iowa; nine grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
She is preceded in death by her parents; and a brother, Richard.
