JoAnne Frances Moore (Daniels)

SIOUX CITY | JoAnne Frances Moore, 73, of Mountain Home, Ark., formerly of Sioux City, died Nov. 15, 2012, after battling cancer for the past year.
Services will be 1 p.m. Wednesday at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, with the Rev. Craig Collison officiating. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery. Visitation will be 4 to 8 today, with family present 6 to 8 p.m., at Berkemier Chapel, Christy-Smith Funeral Homes, 5206 Military Road, in Sioux City.
JoAnne was born on July 26, 1939, in Sioux City, the daughter of Albert and Ferne (Connelly) Daniels. She attended Sacred Heart Catholic Grade School and Bishop Heelan High School.
She married Burl D. Moore in Sioux City on Aug. 17, 1957 at Sacred Heart Church. They raised six children, who all attended Sacred Heart School and Bishop Heelan High School. She worked as secretary at Sacred Heart School for 25 wonderful years and could remember every priest, principal, teacher and student that walked the school halls. She and Burl retired and moved to Mountain Home in 2005.
Survivors include her husband, Burl; a brother and his wife, Richard and Elaine Daniels of Sioux City; her six children, James Moore (Jennifer) of Omaha, Mary Baldacci (John) of Norfolk, Neb., Kathleen Moore of Sioux City, Janet Berding (Al) of Olathe, Kan., William Moore of Sioux City, and Patricia Cassette (Jim) of Wesley Chapel, Fla.; 13 grandchildren, Ben, Ryan, Shawn, Elizabeth, Joe, Isabella, Hannah, Jonathan, Morgan, Aaron, Andrew, Ian and Danielle; seven great-grandchildren; and many special nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; father and mother-in-law, Clarence and Josie Moore; grandson, Paul Berding; great-grandson, Connor Peterson; many brothers and sisters-in-law; and aunts and uncles.
Pallbearers will be Joe Smith, Aaron Berding, Andrew Berding, Ian Cassette, Jonathan Baldacci and Shawn Lahood. Honorary pallbearers will be Don Streeter, Tom Hulleman, Ron Smith, Cliff Collette, Blaine Linden and Tim Krapfl.
The family wishes to thank Kansas City Hospice, North Arkansas Woodcarvers, extended family and friends for their support and prayers during this difficult time.
