Joseph Cameron

Joseph L. Cameron, 63, passed away Sunday, July 22, 2018, at Jennie Edmondson Hospital in Council Bluffs, IA.
A funeral service will be 2:00 pm Thursday, July 26, 2018, at Christy-Smith Funeral Home, Morningside, with visitation beginning at 12:00 pm that day. Burial will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery.
Joseph Lawrence Cameron, the son of Tarquin and Frances “Dee” (Moore) Cameron was born September 24, 1954, in Sioux City, IA. He was a resident at Glenwood Resource Center in Glenwood, IA since the early 1960s. Joseph took part in many workshops and activities at the center. He also went on tours and field trips, and had many friends there.
Joseph is survived by his parents, Tarquin and Dee of Merrill, IA; two brothers, Dennis (Laura) Cameron of Royse City, TX, Bruce (Anna) Cameron of Des Moines, IA; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his grandparents.
The family requests that memorials be directed to Glenwood Resource Center in appreciation for their caring staff.
