Judith M. "Judy" Trudell, 74, of North Sioux City, died Sunday, Dec. 6, 2015, at an Elk Point, S.D., nursing home.
Services will be 1:30 p.m. Saturday at Berkemier Chapel, Christy-Smith Funeral Home in Sioux City. Visitation will be one hour prior to services Saturday at the funeral home.
Judy was born July 3, 1941, in Sioux City, the daughter of Noah and Wilma Cooper. She was raised in the Riverside area of Sioux City, and attended Sacred Heart School and Heelan High School.
Judy married Daniel G. Trudell Oct. 3, 1959, in Elk Point. The couple moved to Elk Point from St. Paul, Minn., in 2004. Daniel died March 20, 2009. In 2012, Judy moved to North Sioux City.
She enjoyed sewing and traveling, and was very spunky. She loved spending time with her grandkids and great-grandkids.
Survivors include her sons, Philip Lee of Idaho, Dale (Deb) Trudell of Alexandria, Minn., and Daniel (Valarie) Trudell of Sioux City; 12 grandchildren; 28 great-grandchildren; and her brother, Mike (Mary) Cooper of North Sioux City.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; a great-grandson, Gabriel; brother, Gene; and sister, Joann.
