MOVILLE, Iowa -- Judith "Judy" Anne Vosburgh, 70, of Mt. Vernon, Ill., a former resident of Moville, passed away 7:35 a.m. Friday, Nov. 4, 2011, at her home surrounded by family.
Services will be 2 p.m. Saturday at McCulloch Chapel, Christy-Smith Funeral Homes in Moville. Burial will be in Arlington Township Cemetery. Visitation will be noon until service time Saturday at the funeral home.
Judith was born Jan. 26, 1941, in Yankton, S.D., the daughter of Leon August and Clare (Breyfogle) Wolfe. She married Ward Jay Vosburgh on Jan. 12, 1963, in Sioux City. Mrs. Vosburgh owned and operated Last Wish Salon in Moville.
Judith is survived by her husband, Ward Vosburgh of Mt. Vernon; three children, Tammy and husband, John Gamester of Mt. Vernon, Lance Vosburgh of Mt. Vernon and JoEllen Gaffaney of California; one brother, Wesley Wolfe and wife, Janelle; and seven grandchildren, Timothy Eckerman, Kristina Eckerman, Joshua Bennar, Nicholas Vosburgh, Alex Vosburgh, Chase Vosburgh and Thomas Vosburgh.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and one brother, Rodney Wolfe.
