Kaitlyn Anderson, 19, of Sioux City passed away Friday, Sept. 19, 2014, at a Sioux City hospital.
Memorial services will be 11 a.m. Tuesday at Morningside Chapel, Christy-Smith Funeral Home. Visitation will be one hour prior to the services. Online condolences may be made to

Kaitlyn was born on May 13, 1995, in Sioux City, to John Anderson and Stephanie (Colvert) White. She graduated from high school in Denison, Iowa.
Kaitlyn had many passions in her life. When she was little, she wanted to become a veterinarian, after an experience with a pet mouse. She was a very talented artist and liked to spray paint artworks. Kaitlyn was also into music, fashion (she would dye her hair almost all colors of the rainbow), make-up, traveling, and poetry. She was very creative and it showed in all the things she enjoyed.
She liked Pinterest, Facebook, and taking selfies on Snapchat. Kaitlyn enjoyed spending time with her friends and was especially close to her little brother, Orren. Kaitlyn truly had a great love for everything that she did.
Those left to honor her memory include her parents, mother and stepfather, Stephanie (James) White of Sioux City; father, John Anderson of Sioux City; siblings, Josh (Penny) Anderson, Elizabeth (Layne) Wood, Ryan (Angie) Anderson, Noah White, Jermiah White, Heston White, Gavin White and Orren White; numerous aunts and uncles; nieces, April, Emma and Caroline, maternal grandparents; maternal great-grandmother, Willa Jo Dye; and best friend, Katie Brock.
She is preceded in death by her brother, Colby Anderson on Sept. 18, 2014.
