MOVILLE, Iowa -- Kay I. Harvey, 60, of Moville died Thursday, Aug. 4, 2011 at Kingsley Nursing & Rehabilitation Center in Kingsley, Iowa.
Memorial services will be 11:00 a.m. Saturday at Moville Evangelical Church in Moville. Arrangements are under the direction of McCulloch Chapel, Christy-Smith Funeral Homes in Moville.
Kay was born Jan. 13, 1951, at Council Bluffs, Iowa, the daughter of Carl and Nina (McGee) Jensen. She grew up and attended school in Council Bluffs.
Kay was united in marriage to Richard Harvey on July 2, 1993, at Logan, Iowa. Together the couple made their home in the Harrison County area until moving to the Moville area in 1998.
Kay was a very sociable person who loved to visit with anyone and everyone. She liked animals, especially her dogs, Candy and Petey, and her cat, Buddy.
She is survived by her husband, Richard, of Moville; two daughters, Autum and Terry Fields of Elk Horn, Iowa, and Crystal and Robert Pierce of Lake Park, Iowa; three grandchildren, Taylor Fields, Tristan Pierce and Mason Pierce; twin brother, Bill and Dee Jensen of Hastings, Iowa; and two sisters, Paula Jensen and Lou Wilcoxen, both of Council Bluffs.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and a daughter, Amber.
