Keith A. Bowers

Keith Allan Bowers, Age 85, went home to be with his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ on January 1, 2021 when he was reunited with his best friend and wife, Mary, who preceded him in death. He was born in Quincy, Illinois on August 31, 1935. He served in the Marine Corps during the Korean War.

Keith worked for a pharmaceutical company enabling him to travel around the country. During this time he met, married and had 50 wonderful years with the most important woman in his life, Mary. They had a passion and were huge supporters of all athletic programs at UAB for over 30 years. He attended Gardendale First Baptist Church and was a member of Masonic Morningside Lodge No. 615, Morningside, Sioux City, IA.

Keith is survived by two nephews and a niece, Michael Bowers, Brian Murphy, and Michelle Sidebottom and a sister-in-law Barbara Bowers Miller, all of Liberty, MO.

Visitation will be held at Ridout Chapel in Gardendale, AL, Tuesday, January 12th at 10:00am. Services will begin at 11:00 am with George Weeks officiating. He will then be transported by plane to Sioux City, IA for burial beside his wife at the Graceland Park cemetery in a graveside service on January 19th at 11am.
