Keli Frye, 33, Raleigh, formerly of Sioux City, died Monday, March 12, 2018, at Shepherd Center Hospital in Atlanta, Ga.
Services will be 1 p.m. Saturday at Riverside United Methodist Church in Sioux City. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation will be 3 to 7 p.m. today, with the family present 5 to 7 p.m., at Morningside Chapel, Christy-Smith Funeral Homes.
Keli Rae Frye, the daughter of Michael Frye and Dorothy "Dot" McClure, was born on April 25, 1984, in Sioux City. She graduated from West High School in 2002. Keli moved to Panama City Beach, Fla., where she was employed as a waitress.
While there, she met the love of her life, Johnny "Doc" Doctor Jr. They moved to Raleigh in 2006, where they started their family. Keli went on to earn her associates degree in business and was the manager at Amazing Lash in Raleigh at the time of her death.
Keli enjoyed beaches, bonfires, reality TV shows and watching her children play baseball. Keli was the life of every party. Her children and her family were everything to her.
Keli is survived by her children, Johnny III and Jada Doctor; soulmate, Doc, all of Raleigh; mother, Dot McClure and stepfather, Jack Toben of Sioux City; brothers, Corey and Michael Frye of Sioux City; twin brother, Kyle Frye of Prairie Village, Kan.; stepbrother, Johnny Toben of Texas; sisters, Michelle and Molly Pace of Sioux City; stepsister, Becky Condos of Beaverton, Ore.; and many other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her father, Michael; grandmother, Lorraine McClure; and a stepbrother, Keith Toben.
