Kelly "Lucky" Eugene Brand

Kelly “Lucky” Eugene Brand, 47, of Sioux City passed away after a courageous and strong battle of cancer on July 11, 2020.

A Funeral Service will be held 11:00 a.m., Friday, July 17, 2020 at Christy-Smith Funeral Homes, Larkin Chapel, 2320 Outer Drive. Visitation with the family will be one hour prior.

Kelly Eugene Brand, son of Robert Brand and Paula (Fuchser) Brand Clark, was born May 3, 1973 in Sioux City, Iowa. He grew up in the area and received his GED. Kelly was a laborer for a construction business.

Kelly enjoyed playing poker and spending time with his family.

Kelly will be lovingly remembered by his daughter, Deidra Lynn (Derek) Lundquist of Sioux City, IA; 3 grandchildren, Brian Carter Lundquist, Braelynn Renee Lundquist, and Bentley Nathaniel Lundquist all of Sioux City, IA; mother, Paula (Fuchser) Clark of Sioux City, IA; 3 sisters, Shelly Marie Brand and her 4 children Savannah Marie Brand, Chance Michael Fisher, Chase Michael Fisher and Cheyenne Marie Brand of Sioux City, IA, Heather Renee Clark and her 2 children Kolby Edward Gries of Sioux City, IA, Kaleb Joshua Gries of Sioux City, IA, Misty May Brand and her 2 children Brendon Russell Sitzmann and Beau Daniel Brand of Le Mars, IA; 2 grandmothers, Geneva Fuchser of South Sioux City, NE, Ruth Lowery of Akron, IA.

He was preceded in death by his father, Robert Brand; grandfather, Paul Fuchser; aunt, Candace Kay (Fuchser) Vermilyea; uncles, Mark Vermilyea and Brad Lowery; aunt, Terri Brand.
