Kurt A. Moore, age 55, of Sioux City, passed away Saturday, February 25, 2023 at the Mayo Clinic In Rochester, MN.
Funeral Service will be 2:00 p.m. Friday, March 3, 2023, at Christy-Smith Funeral Home, Morningside Chapel. Visitation will be 5:00-8:00 p.m. Thursday, March 2, 2023, at Christy-Smith Funeral Home, Morningside Chapel. Burial will be at Memorial Park Cemetery.
Kurt Allen Moore, the son of Elbert and Carol Moore was born May 11, 1967, in Sioux City, Iowa. He graduated from East High School. He went on to attend Western Iowa Technical Community College where he attained his associates degree in automotive technology.
He began working for Hoak Motors and various other businesses in the area before his latest job working for the City of Sioux City as a mechanic.
He is survived by his children, Brenden Moore, Cameron Moore, and Marinda Moore; sisters, Angel Miller, Melyssa Moore; niece, Alycia Porter; nephew Josh Miller; aunts, Cheryl and Alice; along with numerous cousins.
He is preceded in death by his parents and his grandparents.
