Lawrence E. "Larry" Stultz, 62, of South Sioux City died Tuesday, March 17, 2015, at his home.
A gathering and lunch with family and friends in his honor will begin at 2 p.m. Sunday at Christy-Smith Resource Center, 1819 Morningside Ave., in Sioux City. Arrangements are under the direction of Morningside Chapel, Christy-Smith Funeral Home.
Lawrence "Larry" was born on Jan. 24, 1953, in Sioux City, the son of Richard and Mary (Lalumendre) Stultz. He grew up in Sioux City and graduated from Central High School. In 1971, Larry joined the U.S. Navy and served in Okinawa. He was honorably discharged in 1975. Larry lived in the Siouxland area most of his life. He was a draftsman, had run a motel and in his last years, worked at Tur-Pak Foods Inc.
Larry is survived by six children, Jennifer (Jack) Peterson of Illinois, James Stultz of Arkansas, Joshua (Jennifer) Stultz of Arkansas, Joe (Lyndey) Stultz of Illinois, Jessica Stoltz of Sioux City, and Nicci (Jared) Carpentier of Minneapolis; six grandchildren, Kyler, Rebecca, Zach, Ryan, Isaiah, and Jeremiah; six brothers; and two sisters.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
