Lenore D. "Norrie" Lupo, 69, of Sioux City, passed away Thursday, May 12, at a local hospital.
Memorial services will be 11 a.m. Tuesday at Morningside Chapel, Christy-Smith Funeral Home, with Father Jay Denne officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to services.
Norrie was born on Sept. 25, 1946, in Chicago, Ill., to Raymond and Myrtle (Fett) Becker. She graduated from Waller High School in Chicago in 1964.
She married Joseph Lupo Sr. on April 22, 1967. Norrie was employed at the Chicago Tribune as a secretary for eight years. She and Joseph had two children. She then moved to Sioux City in 1980.
Norrie was a member of St. Thomas Episcopal Church and also worked there. She also worked at American Family Insurance for Arlene Ummach for five years. Norrie enjoyed craft classes, drawing, art, fishing, and camping.
Those left to honor her memory include her children, Joseph (Heidi) Lupo of Papillion, Neb., and Tina (Mark) Cobb of Sioux City; five grandchildren, Tristan, Dawson, Hayden, RJ and Alissa; and a brother, Raymond Becker of Sioux City; a sister-in-law, Marie (Garry) Lupo-Dicus; nephew, Ian Lupo; and brother-in-law, Dominic (Barb) Lupo of Racine, Wis.
She was preceded in death by her parents; former husband, Joseph; and sister-in-law, Linda Becker.
