Leona F. Buck, 100, of Sioux City, passed away at a local nursing home Wednesday, Oct. 17, 2018.
Services will be 1 p.m. Saturday at Morningside Chapel, Christy-Smith Funeral Homes. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery. Online condolences can be made at

Leona was born on Nov. 10, 1917, to James and Marie (Moltz) Moore. She married Clarence Wesley Buck on Oct. 8, 1947 in South Sioux City. Leona was employed with IBP for a few years and enjoyed helping her mother in nursing homes.
She was a member of Riverside United Methodist Church. She volunteered her time in the DAV Thrift Shop and enjoyed playing cards, golfing, and bowling.
Leona is lovingly survived by her three children, Peggy (Alvin) Bush, Leonetta Reed, and Wes (Shelly) Buck, all of Sioux City; nine grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; grandson, Jason Reed; and great-grandson, Gavin Bush.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests any donations be made to Hospice of Siouxland.
