Linda L. “Linny” Hutton, 69, of Sioux City, died Saturday, March 17, 2018, at a local hospital.
Services will be 10 a.m. Thursday at Cornerstone World Outreach with visitation one hour prior. Burial will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery.
Linda LaVerne “Linny” Iverson, the daughter of Wayne and Joan (Williams) Iverson, was born April 7, 1948, in Bassett, Neb. She graduated from Rock County High School in 1966 and went on to attend the University of Nebraska at Kearney. Linny was employed at various places over the years, but was primarily a homemaker.
On Sept. 7, 2002, Linny was united in marriage with Micheal “Mike” Hutton at the Le Mars Assembly of God Church. Linny retired in 2010. The couple moved to Sioux City in 2012.
Linny was a member of Cornerstone World Outreach in Sioux City. She accepted Jesus Christ as her personal savior at a young age, and grew with the Lord throughout her life. Linny had an incredible faith and was very devoted to the Lord. She was also very artistic and had a talent for painting.
Linny is survived by her husband, Mike of Sioux City; sons, Ryan Werner of Denver and Jason (Jennifer Michaels) Werner of Athens, Ohio; siblings, Terri (Scott) Hansen of Rice, Minn., Scot (Julie) Iverson of Bassett and Tina Shearer of Blue Springs, Mo.; and many other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents and a nephew, Erik John Zielke.
The family has requested that memorials be directed to Cornerstone World Outreach.
