Linda L. Mapes

Linda L. Mapes, 69, of Sioux City passed away Wednesday, June 10, 2015, at Matney's Colonial Manor in South Sioux City.
Graveside services will be 2 p.m. Monday in Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation will be noon until service time Monday at Morningside Chapel, Christy-Smith Funeral Home.
Linda was born Aug. 20, 1945, in Sioux City, to James and Dorothy (Graham) Olsen. Linda married Alvin Mapes on Nov. 10, 1989.
She was a member of Christian Family and enjoyed camping and Bingo.
Survivors include her husband, Alvin; daughters, Brenda Mapes, Connie and Mel Smith, Amy Carson and Joy and Kelly Culver; sons, Rick Gabriael, Jerry Mapes, Jimmy and Kathy Neal, Jeff Hickey and Shawn Henry; 17 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and a brother, Gary and Linda Olsen.
She was preceded in death by her parents; a sister, Sally Olsen; and a brother, Warren Olsen.
