SIOUX CITY -- Linda Kay Neilsen, 61, Sioux City died on Monday, Nov. 21, 2011, at a Sioux City nursing home.
Services will be 11:30 a.m. Thursday at Larkin Chapel, Christy-Smith Funeral Home. The Rev. Merlin Schrad will officiate. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service Thursday at the funeral home.
Linda was born Oct. 21, 1950, the daughter of Harry W. and Catherine (Smith) Neilsen. She had been a resident of Sioux City since she was young adult and had worked for Mid-Step Services.
Linda was member of the Catholic faith. She was a very loving and caring person.
She is survived by two brothers, William Neilsen of Clifton Springs, N.Y., and James Neilsen of Rochester, N.Y.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
A memorial has been established in her name for Hospice of Siouxland or Touchstone Care Center.
