Loraine was born on Jan. 23, 1928, in Sioux City, the daughter of Jesse and Hulda Kuhlmann. She moved at the age of 2 to Rapid City, S.D., returning to Sioux City at the age of 12. She graduated from East High School in Sioux City. After graduation, she worked at Nystrom Electric and then went on to Postal Finance for the next nine years as the assistant office manager.

She married George Wall on June 27, 1947, in Sioux City. After taking time off to raise her family, Loraine became a Mary Kay consultant and was active with Mary Kay for many, many years. Loraine was a beautiful soprano and both she and George sang together at churches, weddings and funerals. They also made regular appearances on radio and television programs throughout the region in the 1950s, 60s and 70s. Loraine was an active member of Morningside Assembly of God Church, heading the Greeters Committee for many years. She loved helping people and was very active with the Gospel Mission in Sioux City for more than 40 years, serving on the board for a number of years until retiring this last year. She was also active with Christian Women's Club and Women Aglow.

More than anything she was an elegant, graceful, Godly woman who loved her family and friends deeply. Loraine always thought of others and will be greatly missed by all of those who knew and loved her.
