Margaret Cadwell

SIOUX CITY | Margaret Irene Cadwell, 94, of Sioux City died Friday, July 20, 2012, at a Sioux City hospital.
Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Thursday at Morningside Chapel, Christy-Smith Funeral Home. Chaplain Jon Moravec will officiate. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation will be from noon until service time at the funeral home.
Margaret was born on Oct.11, 1917, in Sioux City. She was the daughter of Arnt and Magda (Norman) Salberg. She was raised in Sioux City. Margaret married Holden Cadwell on June 25, 1938, in Sioux City. Holden died on Jan. 12, 1993, in Sioux City.
Margaret worked as a waitress at the 4th Street Cafe and at Gizmo’s Cafe. She was a member of First Lutheran Church. She enjoyed going to the senior center, playing bingo and 500 and visiting with family and friends.
She is survived by a son and his wife, Dennis and Carol Cadwell of Sarasota, Fla.; one grandchild, Darla and Stephen Burlage of Sarasota, Fla.; one great-grandchild, Dennis Lucas Burlage; and many nieces and nephews
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; a son, Harold Cadwell; and a grandson, Douglas Cadwell.
Memorials may be sent to Sunrise Manor.
