SIOUX CITY | Margaret L. Duman, 89, of Sioux City died Wednesday, July 4, 2012, at Countryside Senior Living.
Services will be 10 a.m. today at Larkin Chapel, Christy-Smith Funeral Home, with the Rev. Gary B. Snyder officiating. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery.
Margaret was born on Feb. 1, 1923, in Sioux City, the daughter of Cornelius and Grace (Sawyer) Callahan. She attended school and graduated from Central High School.
Margaret married Leonard Duman on Dec. 30, 1950. They made their home in Chicago until 1959, when they moved to Sioux City. Margaret worked as a bookkeeper for more then 15 years at Wood Brothers and 20 years at Thompson Electric, retiring in 1988. Leonard died on June 4, 2002.
Margaret was a member of St. Michael's Catholic Church. She was a longtime bowler.
Survivors include a son, Tony and Debbie Duman of LaGrange, Ill.; and a niece, Mary and Rodney Raabe of Sioux City.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Leonard "Bud"; and her brothers and sisters.
