South Sioux City, NE – Margaret E. Krogman, 94, died Monday, November 14, 2022, at a long-term care facility in South Sioux City, NE.
A funeral service will be 2:00 pm Thursday, November 17, 2022, at Christy-Smith Funeral Homes, Morningside Chapel, 1801 Morningside Ave., with visitation one hour prior. Burial will take place in Memorial Park Cemetery. Online condolences may be expressed to the family at

Margaret Ellen Stading, the daughter of Frank and Anna (Arends) Stading was born February 14, 1928, in Homer, NE. She received her education in Sioux City and became a CNA at St. Joseph Hospital.
Margaret was a devout member of the Lutheran Church and enjoyed volunteering at the church. She was also fond of knitting, sewing, reading, gardening, and cooking. In later years, Margaret truly loved watching her grandkids in sports and school activities.
Margaret is survived by her children, Mike Stapleton of Sioux City and Surprise, AZ, Larry Stapleton of Sioux City, Kim (fiancé: Les Selzler) Wendel of Surprise, AZ, Pam Walls of Birmingham, AL; 12 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild on the way; and many other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; a daughter, Judy Bringle; and her siblings, Karl Stading, Martin Stading, Karroll Stading, and Dorothy Ruschmann.
