Margaret "Peggy" Murray Neuroth, 69, of Sioux City died Monday, May 30, 2016, at a Sioux City hospital.
Memorial services will be 10:30 a.m. Thursday at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, with the Rev. Armand Bertrand officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Morningside Chapel, Christy-Smith Funeral Homes.
Margaret "Peggy" was born on Dec. 16, 1946, in Spencer, Iowa, the daughter of Raymond and Gladys (Robeson) Murray. With her family, she lived in Bronson, Iowa, until 1955, when they moved to Sioux City. Peggy attended Immaculate Conception School and graduated from Heelan High School in 1965.
Peggy married Tim Neuroth in 1968. They made their home in Sioux City. Peggy worked at Mercy Medical Center for more than 38 years, retiring in 2005.
She was a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, the IC Altar Society, and the American Women's Business Association for two years. Peggy enjoyed golf and tennis. She was in 4-H, where she showed horses, won ribbons and trophies. She was an avid youth sports supporter and was in Soccer Moms for East High.
Survivors include her husband, Tim Neuroth of Sioux City; three children, Brian Neuroth of Sioux City, Kimberly Neuroth of Sioux City, and Mark Neuroth of Greeley, Colo.; two granddaughters, Lilith and Arya; one brother, Joseph (Diane) Murray of Fayetteville, N.C.; and a sister-in-law, Jackie Murray of Sioux City.
She is preceded in death by her parents; sister, Joan Rye; and two brothers, John and Patrick Murray.
