Margaret Ann Reitsma (Lynch)

SIOUX CITY -- Margaret Ann Reitsma, 85, of Sioux City died Dec. 12, 2008, in Sioux City.

Memorial services will be 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at St. John's Lutheran Church, with the Rev. Greg Hanneman officiating. Burial of the ashes will be in Graceland Park Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Morningside Chapel, Christy-Smith Funeral Home.

Margaret was born March 6, 1923, in Sioux City. She was the daughter of Frank and Mable (Olson) Lynch. She was raised in Sioux City and graduated from Central High School. On June 21, 1947, she married Andrew Reitsma in Sioux City. He died on Jan. 28, 2006. Margaret had worked as a secretary at several companies in Sioux City, including Prince Manufacturing.

She was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church. She enjoyed doing crossword puzzles, sewing, playing the piano and enjoyed all kinds of music.

Survivors include two sons, Glenn Reitsma of Chicago, Ill., and Norman Reitsma of Sioux City.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; and her brother, John Lynch.
