Margaret L. Wyant

Margaret L. Wyant, 75, of Sioux City, passed away Dec. 2, 2016, at her home.
Visitation will be 5 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Morningside Chapel, Christy-Smith Funeral Home.
Margaret was born on Aug. 30, 1941, in Dallas, Texas, to Floyd and Helen (Smalley) Sanders. Margaret graduated from East High School in 1959.
She was united in marriage to John "Jack" Wyant on July 29, 1961, in South Sioux City. After raising her children, she worked for Connie Bodine, MidAmerican, and Child Protective Services before retiring in 2009.
Her greatest loves were traveling and spending time with her grandchildren. She enjoyed watching golf tournaments and was an avid Minnesota Vikings fan.
Those left to honor her memory include her children, Gerald "Jerry" Wyant of Iowa City, Iowa, Tracy (Thomas) Wingert of Ogden, Utah, and Michael Wyant of Sioux City; grandchildren, Alissa and Spencer Wyant and Tommy and Taylour Wingert; and sisters, Claudia Blenderman and Susan Boehlje.
She is preceded in death by her parents; and husband.
In lieu of flowers, memorials can be given to the Gospel Mission or Siouxland Humane Society.
