Margie was a member of Moville United Methodist Church and the UMW. She was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star, a founding member of the SMILE club (Stock Market Invest Learn & Earn investment club) and a former member of the Meadows Country Club. She was honored to serve as the honorary WC homecoming parade marshal in 1971.
Margie enjoyed outdoor activities such as gardening, boating, water skiing, camping, fishing and golfing. She also enjoyed traveling, dancing, oil painting and needlework.
