Onawa, Iowa - Margie Mae "Toots" Kincaid of Onawa died Thursday, Nov. 22, 2012, surrounded by her family.
A celebration of life service will be 5 p.m. Saturday at Berkemier Chapel, Christy-Smith Funeral Home, 5206 Military Road, in Sioux City. Private family graveside services will be at a later date.
Margie was born on May 8, 1924, in Jefferson, S.D., the daughter of John and Mabel (Ultsch) Irwin. She graduated from Sacred Heart School.
Margie married Robert Wesley Kincaid in November 1944. To this union two sons, Robert Jr. "Bob" and Harry "PeeWee," were born. Her husband, Robert, passed in December 1987. her son, Robert Jr. "Bob," passed in December 1998. Margie retired from Interbake Foods in 1983.
There wasn't one person that ever met Margie "Toots" that didn't adore her. She was a loving, giving, selfless, sweet woman. Her family believes she was an angel on earth. her passing has brought much sadness, however she never liked seeing anyone sad, so let's celebrate her life.
Survivors include her son, Harry "PeeWee" (Sherri) Kincaid of Elk Point, S.D.; seven grandchildren, Suzie (John) Greuniesen of Onawa, Iowa, Scott Kincaid of Sioux City, Shannon Kincaid-Thibodeau of Sioux City, Wesley (Jessica) Kincaid of Rogers, Ark., Cindi Goreham of Omaha, Jesse (Melissa) McKee of Akron, Iowa, and Nicholas (Kristal) McKee of Akron; 21 great-grandchildren, Katie (John), Ashley (Jason), Alex, Bailey, Daniel (Minda), Krisy (Colton), Rayven, Bayleigh, Zoey, Harley, Brandon, Elysia, Reagan, Matthew (Brandie), Samuel, Michael, Daynen, Reegan, Hudson, Ryland, and Waylon; three great-great-grandchildren, Treyton, Jacob and Matthew Jr.; her special friend of many years, Ival Shook and his family; and many friends, cousins, nieces, and nephews.
The family would like to thank the medical staff at Burgess Hospital and Hospice of Onawa.
