Marion F. Hinrickson, 86, of Sioux City, passed away Wednesday, Aug. 23, 2017, at her daughter's residence in Sioux City.
Memorial services will be 11 a.m. Monday at Good News Baptist Church, 3200 West 19th Street, in Sioux City. Interment will be at a later date. Visitation with the family will be 10 a.m. until service time Monday at the church. Arrangements are under the direction of Morningside Chapel, Christy-Smith Funeral Homes.
Marion was born on Jan. 9, 1931, in Sioux City, the daughter of Clarence Earl and Margaret Pearl (Knepper) Roberts. She attended Sioux City Community Schools.
She was united in marriage with Charles Hinrichkson. He preceded her in death. She was a longtime resident of Sioux City. Marion formerly worked at Matney Nursing Homes and Good Samaritan Homes.
She was a charter member of Good News Baptist Church and enjoyed her fellowship at the church. She also enjoyed her crafts, visiting with people, and was an excellent seamstress.
She is survived by her son, Randy Roberts and wife, Patricia of Sioux City; son, Steven E. Roberts; her daughters, Wendy Jeffords and husband, Michael of Sioux City, Margaret Schutta and husband, Joel of Phoenix, Arizona, Laurie Jacobson and husband, Wayne of Fremont, Nebraska, and Sandra Farr and her husband, Ronald of Harlan, Iowa; her 12 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; and a sister, Joan Kelly of Sergeant Bluff.
Marion was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; and three sisters.
