Martha Marie Hatfield, 80, of Sioux City died Wednesday, March 12, 2008, at a Sioux City hospital.
Graveside services will be 3 p.m. Friday in Onawa Cemetery, Onawa, Iowa. There will be no visitation. Arrangements are under the direction of Christy-Smith Morningside Chapel. Condolences may be sent online to www.christysmith.com .
Martha Marie Lunn was born Aug. 21, 1927, to Bolin T. and Alma L. (Rucker) King in Bauxite, Ark. She was born in Arkansas and raised in Kansas City, Mo. She retired to Springfield, Mo., in 1993 and moved to Sioux City in 2003.
On Dec. 25, 1947, she and Jimmy LeRoy Hatfield were married in Kansas City, Kan.
She was a member of the 1927 High Flyers Club.
She is survived by four children; 11 grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Jimmy in 2003; an infant sister; and an infant daughter, Constance.
Memorials may be sent to Hospice of Siouxland.
