Mary moved to Yankton, S.D., where she worked for The Gurney Hotels prior to moving to Sioux City in 1954, where she then worked for Dean Drug Store until 1981.
Mary enjoyed being a member of the Fraternal Order of the Eagles. Her final years were spent at the Holy Spirit Retirement Home. She was a lady firm in her thoughts and beliefs and a devout Catholic, who loved going to Mass.

She was preceded in death by her parents; a sister; a brother-in-law; and a nephew.
Memorials may be directed to the family.
A special thanks to her friend, who was such a tremendous help during Mary's sickness, and to the Holy Spirit Retirement Home for their loving care.
