SIOUX CITY -- Mary K. Cook, 92, of Sioux City died May 6, 2012 at a Sioux City hospital.
Services will be 11 a.m. Thursday at Berkemier Chapel, Christy-Smith Funeral Home, with the Rev. Craig Collison officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation will be one hour prior to service Thursday at the funeral home.
Mary was born on March 8, 1920, in Holly Springs, Iowa, the daughter of Guy and Agnes (Devine) Beebe. She attended school and graduated from Holly Springs High School.
Mary married Leonard Cook in 1938. They made their home in Sioux City. Mary raised four children and helped with the family business, a TV repair shop. Leonard died in 1986.
Mary loved spending time with her children and grandchildren. She also enjoyed cooking.
Survivors include two sons, Dick Cook of Sioux City, and Bill and Deanna Cook of Sioux City; two daughters, Colleen and Gary Mason of Mission Viejo, Calif., and Connie and Gerry Murray of Sioux City; three grandchildren, Mindy and Jason Mahnke of Sioux City, Bill Cook of Seoul, South Korea, and Matthew Murray of Sioux City; and three great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Leonard; and four brothers and sisters.
