Maureen "Mo" L. Barnhart, 57, of Sergeant Bluff passed away Sunday, Sept. 29, 2013, at a local hospital surrounded by family.

Maureen was born on June 23, 1956, in Oconto, Wis., to Joseph and Ivadene (Pearson) Crouse. She was united in marriage to Steve Barnhart in Sun Prairie, Wis. They eventually settled in Sergeant Bluff in 1984.
She enjoyed spending time with family and traveling with her husband, Steve.
Those left to honor her memory include her husband, Steve; sons, Daniel and Jennifer Barnhart of Dakota Dunes, S.D., Bryan Barnhart of Sioux City, and Steven and Angela Barnhart, of Sergeant Bluff; grandchildren, Jacob Barnhart, Caleb Hamann, Jayde Hamann, Tyler Barnhart, Daniel Barnhart, and Charlee Barnhart; two brothers; and seven sisters.
She is preceded in death by her parents; her son, Tyler Jason Barnhart; and brother, Christopher William Clapper.
