Maxine G. Williams, 90, of Sioux City died Saturday, March 15, 2008, at a Sioux City hospital.
Services will be 11 a.m. Thursday at Morningside Church of Christ, with the Rev. Matthew Wentz officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation will be 6 to 8 p.m. today, with a prayer service at 7 p.m., at Christy-Smith Morningside Chapel.
Maxine was born Aug. 22, 1917, in Sioux City, the daughter of Orland and Edna (Bill) Trego. She attended Sioux City elementary school system.
She married Kenneth M.W. Williams on Dec. 23, 1933, in Elk Point, S.D. He died Jan. 24, 2005, in Sioux City. She was a lifelong Sioux City resident. She was a homemaker and housewife.
She was a member of Morningside Church of Christ. She enjoyed cooking and baking.
Survivors include a son, Gene F. Williams of Sioux City; a grandson, Scott M. Williams of Westfield, Ind.; a niece, Marion Rubida of Sioux City; and a nephew, Paul Jacobson of Sioux City.
She was preceded in death by her husband; her parents; and a brother, Kenneth L. Trego.
Pallbearers will be Bill Kohn, Rick Bradley, Larry Rubida, Ted Peterson, Don Dukes and Keith Miller.
