Sioux City -| Michael James Case, 61, of Sioux City died on Sunday, Sept. 2, 2012, at his home.
Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. Friday in Logan Park Cemetery. The Rev. Merrill Mueller will officiate. There will be a lunch at 1 p.m. Friday at Greg and Geri's home in Riverside. Arrangements are under the direction of Berkemier Chapel, Christy-Smith Funeral Home.
Michael was born on Oct. 20, 1950, in Sioux City, the son of Leland and Leona (Schmidt) Case. He was a lifelong Sioux City resident and graduated from Riverside High School. He worked at Terminal Grain for 14 years.
Mike liked to fish and enjoyed visiting with his friends at Mary’s Hideout.
He is survived by his brother and his wife, Greg and Geri Case of Sioux City; a sister, Sandy Farrell of North Sioux City; and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his son, Mike Case; and his parents.
Honorary pallbearers will be his six nephews, Rick, Kevin, Robbie, and Keith Farrell and Todd and Rich Case.
