Michael A. Hinrichsen, 59, Akron, IA (formerly of Sioux City) born to Ken & Helen Hinrichsen, completed his journey on this earth Saturday, August 1, 2015.
A funeral mass will be held at 11 a.m. at St. Michael Catholic Church in Leeds. Burial will be in St. Paul's Catholic Cemetery in Plainview, Nebraska at a later date. Larkin Chapel, Christy-Smith Funeral Homes is charge of arrangements.
He attended Immaculate Conception Elementary school and graduated from Heelan High School in 1975.
Mike is survived by his mother, 3 brothers, 7 sisters, aunts, uncles, and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
The family requests that in lieu of flowers that donations be made to the memorials of the family's choice.
Special thanks to the caregivers and staff of Akron Care Center for their years of exceptional care.
