SIOUX CITY -- Michael Burton Sparks, 56, of Lafayette, La., formerly of Sioux City, passed away March 8, 2010, at his residence.
Services will be 2 p.m. Saturday at Morningside Chapel, Christy-Smith Funeral Home in Sioux City. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation will be 10 a.m. until service time Saturday at the funeral home. Condolences may be sent online to delhommefuneralhome.com or www.christysmith.com .
Mr. Sparks was the son of Burton Sparks of Sioux City and the late Marion (Wormley) Sparks of Kingsley, Iowa.
He is survived by his wife, Judy P. Sparks; two daughters, Yvonne Elizabeth Sparks and Marion Leigh Sparks; his father, Burton Sparks; four brothers, Mark, Perry, Jerry and Kevin Sparks; and a sister, Sandy Ocker.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Marion Lee Sparks; his maternal grandmother, Francis Marion Doughtery; and his wife, Mary Elizabeth Donovan.
