Michael William Tague, 66, of Sioux City, passed away on Nov. 28, 2016, at his home.
Services will be 2 p.m. Friday at Morningside Chapel, Christy-Smith Funeral Home, with the Rev. Merrill Muller officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation will be 4:30 to 8:30 p.m. today, with the family present 6:30 to 8:30 p.m., at the funeral home.
Michael was born on June 6, 1950, in Sioux City, to Richard and Bertha (Richards) Tague. Mike attended Hinton (Iowa) High School and was raised by his grandma, Millie.
Mike married Deborah Coddington on May 21, 1971 in Dakota City.
He enjoyed collecting coins and baseball cards, truck driving, and loved spending time hunting and fishing with his children. Mike loved listening to older country music and music from the 1960s. He would often sing "Patches" and "Tell Laura I Love Her" to his children when he took them on the road with him. In the winter, Mike and Debbie enjoyed sitting around the table playing cards with the kids.
Survivors include his wife, Deborah Tague; son, Chadwick (Lori) Tague of Deltona, Fla.; daughter, Danielle (Patrick) Hohenfield of Bladen, Neb.; grandchildren, Miranda, Brianna, Mariah, Cody, Tatiana, Tricia, and Alex; great-granddaughter, Adella; brother, Ronnie (Cheryl) Tague; and sisters, Bethene Caskey, and Darla (Ted) Miller.
He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Terry Tague; infant sibling; and grandmother, Millie Richards.
