Michael William Wiggs

Michael W. Wiggs, 51, of Sioux City passed away Tuesday, Jan. 6, 2015, in Sioux City.
Visitation will be 3 to 6 p.m. today at Morningside Chapel, Christy-Smith Funeral Home.
Michael was born on Dec. 29, 1963, in Sioux City, to Charles and Monica (Stanislav) Wiggs. He was raised in Sioux City, graduating from North High School. After graduation, he moved to Texas.
He married Raquel Ramos on Oct. 21, 1994. The couple made their home in Texas, returning to Sioux City in 1996. Michael worked as a sheet metal roofer.
He enjoyed riding his bike to the park and going for walks. He was a Dallas Cowboys fan and was a great craftsman. Michael loved animals, especially his cat, Pip.
Those left to honor his memory include his children, David (fiancee, Sandra) Wiggs of Ft. Worth, Texas, Steven (fiancee, Michelle) Wiggs of Ft. Worth, and Michaela Wiggs of Ft. Worth; granddaughter, Isabel R. Wiggs of Ft. Worth; and three brothers and five sisters, Craig (Janine) Wiggs of Sioux Falls, S.D., Teresa (Gerry) Angerman of Sioux City, Julie (Dwayne) Uitermark of Parnell, Iowa, Laurie (Blane) Thompson of Parnell, Dan (Kathy) Wiggs of Sioux City, Doug (fiancee, Cyndi Cook) Wiggs of Bloomington, Ill., Kris (fiance, Pete VanDerWeide) Lower of Sioux City, and Carla Baker of Sioux City.
He is preceded in death by his parents; and infant brother, David.
