Mildred A. Monteforte

Mildred A. Monteforte, age 77, passed away peacefully on May 1, 2022, at a local health care center.
She was born on September 27, 1944 and was adopted by Ruth and Jay Stroh of Sioux City, Iowa. Mildred married Herman Monteforte and they were together for 53 years. She enjoyed life and made friends very easily.
After attending school, Mildred worked at Goodwill Industries, WACO, and Fareway Foods for many years. She was a hard worker and a very loyal employee.
Mildred is survived by her husband, Herman, of Sioux City; her brother, Konrad Stroh, of Red Wing, Minnesota; her sister-in-law, Bev Cooper, of Crystal, Minnesota; and a niece and two nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
