Nancy A. Hansen, 71, of Sioux City passed away Thursday, June 19, 2014 at Touchstone Care Center.
Services will be 1 p.m. Tuesday at Larkin Chapel, Christy Smith Funeral Homes, 2320 Outer Drive N. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service.
Nancy was born on March 22, 1943 in Sioux City, the daughter of Jerry and Elizabeth (Haberer) Wilson. She was united in marriage to Richard Hansen on Feb. 4, 1961, in Sioux City. To this union, three sons were born. Nancy owned and operated Nancy’s Cleaning Service for many years, retiring due to health conditions.
Nancy was a member of Southern Hills Baptist Church. She had a tremendous sense of humor and enjoyed golf, bowling, and playing cards.
Those left to honor her memory include her husband, Richard, of Sioux City; sons, Robert Hansen, Michael Hansen and Gregory Hansen, all of Sioux City; grandchildren, Daniel, Nicholas, Chase, Austin, Zachariah, Britney, Katie and Katelyn; great-grandson, Scout; and brother, Larry Lee Wilson of Sunnyvale, Calif.
She is preceded in death by her parents; grandson, Joshua; sister, Rita Mae; and brother, Robert Lewis.
Nancy had a firm faith in Jesus and is now with the Lord.
