Nancy Steffe

Nancy “Tootie” Ann Steffe, 66, of Sioux City, passed away Friday, Jan. 13, 2017, at a local nursing home.
Celebration of life services will be held 6:30 p.m. Tuesday at St. Mark Lutheran Church, 5200 Glenn Ave., in Sioux City. Arrangements are under the direction of Morningside Chapel, Christy-Smith Funeral Home.
Nancy was born on April 1, 1950, in Sioux City, to Carl and Kay Sorensen. She graduated from East High in 1969. Nancy was the owner and operator of Steffe Ceramics for many years.
She was an artist in many ways and had many talents. Nancy enjoyed flowers and was a master gardener. She was also an Iowa State arm wrestling champion when she was younger.
She is survived by her brother, Jim and Sandra Sorensen of Omaha, and their children; several sisters-in-law; numerous nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
She is preceded in death by her great-grandmother, queen of England Elizabeth; parents; and husband, Bernard.
