SIOUX CITY -- Newt J. Ribondo, 81, of Rancho Cordova, Calif., formerly of Sioux City, died Friday, May 22, 2009, in California.

Private family services will be 11 a.m. today at Berkemier Chapel, Christy-Smith Funeral Home in Sioux City. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery. There will be no visitation.
