Pamla D. Sharp, 69, of Wichita, Kan., formerly of Stratford, N.J., passed away Sunday, May 24, 2015, at Harry Hynes Memorial Hospice in Wichita.
Services will be 11 a.m. Tuesday at Calvary Episcopal Church in Sioux City. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service. Arrangements are under the direction of Morningside Chapel, Christy-Smith Funeral Home.
Pamla was born on March 28, 1946, in Sioux City to Jerry and Vae (Koeppe) Cason. She was united in marriage to Donald Sharp on Sept. 19, 1967.
She worked at Zenith, RCA, United Airlines and Virtua Hospital.
She was involved with ham radios. She was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary Post 281 in Blackwood, N.J., and a member of the American Medical Technologists. She was a member of First Presbyterian Church in Somerdale, N.J.
Those left to honor her memory include her husband, Donald Sharp of Wichita, Kan., formerly of Stratford, N.J.; children, Jana Booth (Aydt) of Akron, Iowa, and family, Laura Brecker (Sharp) of West Berlin, N.J., and family, Michelle Pyle (Sharp) of Pine Hill, N.J., and family and Donald Sharp of Glen Gardner, N.J., and family; nine grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; sisters, Coleen McKeever of Sioux City, and Jerri Muir of Prineville, Ore.; brothers, Ronald Cason of Sioux City, Josiah Strock of Wyomissing, Pa., and William Strock of Douglasville, Pa.; and uncles, Robert and Myrna Koeppe of North Sioux City, and Dean Koeppe of Sioux Rapids, Iowa.
She is preceded in death by her parents.
