Patricia Ann McManus (Gongliewski)

SIOUX CITY -- Patricia McManus, 77, formerly of Sioux City, passed away April 19, 2011.
Graveside services for Patricia will be held 1 p.m. Tuesday in Calvary Cemetery, with the Rev. Dan Guenther officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Larkin Chapel, Christy-Smith Funeral Home.
Patricia was born in and was a longtime resident of Sioux City. She graduated from Heelan High School. On Sept. 17, 1955, Pat married Robert J. McManus, the love of her life.
She was a member of St. Thomas Church in Amarillo, Texas. Pat was known to those she touched as having a warm and compassionate heart. She loved and was loved by all her family members. Pat was active in supporting charities such as the ASPCA, veterans groups and religious charities. She enjoyed gardening, needlepoint, crossword puzzles and especially spending time with family.
On the canvas of life, Patricia painted a masterpiece. She will be missed forever.
She is survived by her son, Dale McManus and wife, Carmen of Carrington, N.D.; her daughter, Kathy Braunger and husband, David of Amarillo, Texas; six grandchildren, Matt McManus and wife, Amy of Sioux City, Shelley of Sioux City, Bobby Braunger and wife, Sarah, Melissa Wallace and husband, Justin, Eric and Brian of Amarillo; six great-grandchildren, Addison, Mason, Wade, Zane, Kaitlyn and Zach; two brothers, Bob Gongliewski and Leonard Gongliewski of Washington; and three aunts, Louise, Mary and Jenn.
