Patricia E. ‘Pat’ Perkins, 75, of Sioux City passed away Sept. 22, 2016, at Touchstone Retirement Center.
Memorial services will be 7 p.m. Tuesday at Morningside Chapel, Christy-Smith Funeral Home, with the Rev. Tom LoVan officiating. Visitation will be 5 to 7 p.m. Tuesday.
Pat was born June 23, 1941, in Clarinda, Iowa, to Lloyd Woodman and Virginia Elizabeth (Wyndom) Perkins. Pat married Elmer Smith Jr. right out of high school and had four wonderful children with him. She later married Douglas Helms who cared for her later in life.
Pat enjoyed bowling, reading, working at PQ Auto Salvage, and watching sports, especially the Cubs.
Survivors include her daughters, Gina (Robert) Mycka and Carol Smith-Renkel; her sons, Elmer (Kathi) Smith III and Daniel Smith; grandchildren, Brodie Smith, Callie Osterbuhr, Spencer Smith, Heather Smith, Daniel Smith Jr., Thomas Dale McAnally III, Justin McAnally, Joshua, McAnally, Blythe Cooley, Ryann Mycka, Jordan Smith and Casche Renkel; great-grandchildren, Thomas Dale McAnally IV, Remington McAnally, Braxton McAnally and Tristan Smith; sisters, Mary and Karmen; and brother, Bob (Joyce) Perkins
She was preceded in death by her parents; both husbands; sister, Jackie;and brother, Richard.
